"The first time a patient visits, we take an extensive personal history of him or her," Dr. Denise says. "Often, you can arrive at the diagnosis just through the history of the patient."

The history is done in a conversation format. You aren't expected to simply check boxes after a list of items. Dr. Denise will know what to ask to determine if the problem is musculoskeletal or chiropractic in nature.

Dr. Denise has various physical therapy modalities to help you recover more quickly.

"There are a lot of things available here." Dr. Denise says. "Our aim is for patients to gain 100 percent of their health."

And if she can't help you, she'll tell you. "Sometimes people have come in with something more serious such as cancer," she says. "My goal when I first treat you is to make sure it is something I can treat. If it is, and most of the time it is, then we'll work to help you recover as quickly as possible."
